ScriptureflowTerms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Scriptureflow app and this website. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The app

Scriptureflow is a free app for reading the Bible and memorizing Scripture. It's provided by Boxershorts Studio (“we”, “us”). There are no fees, subscriptions or in-app purchases.

2. Your licence to use it

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Scriptureflow on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

3. Your content

The verses you add, the collections and prayer journal entries you write, and your progress are yours. They stay on your devices — we never receive them. You're responsible for keeping your own backups.

If you paste text from a copyrighted Bible translation into Scriptureflow, it's for your own personal study. Please respect that translation's copyright.

4. Bible texts

The Bible translations built into Scriptureflow are in the public domain or used under their licences. Credits and licence details are on the Credits page. The Bíblia Livre is used under the Creative Commons Attribution licence.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, its design or its code except as the law allows, and don't use it to break the law.

6. Our name and design

“Scriptureflow”, the app icon, and the app's design and code belong to us. The Bible texts belong to the public domain or to their respective licensors.

7. No warranty

We work hard to make Scriptureflow helpful and reliable, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every verse, word count, translation or score will be perfect. Speech and handwriting recognition can make mistakes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Scriptureflow. Because the app is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering Scriptureflow or any feature at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
